It has been another exciting toy event at the San Diego Comic Convention 2009. With many SDCC exclusives and the latest toys being showcased, no wonder SDCC has been the benchmark for many toy conventions globally.

This time round, two SDCC 2009 exclusive Mighty Muggs were released by Hasbro - the Optimus Prime and Gabe Logan (Wolverine) Mighty Muggs. Well let’s take a look at how special these exclusives are.

SDCC 2009 Exclusive Optimus Prime MightyMuggs

The SDCC exclusive Optimus Prime is no different from the Optimus Prime from the Transformers Mighty Muggs wave 1 in terms of design and accessory wise. The only significant difference is that the SDCC Optimus Prime has been repainted in metallic colours. So now you can have your Prime to go Bling! Bling! under the spotlight.

Also notice that the box comes with the SDCC logo pasted on it. That’s what I call an exclusive.

SDCC 2009 Exclusive Gabe Logan (Wolverine) Mighty Muggs

This Gabe Logan (Wolverine) Mighty Muggs may look very simple but in actual fact, it is one of the best rendition of Wolverine in the Mighty Muggs series so far. That is because the claws on this fellow are actually retractable. Cool isn’t it?  The box also sports the SDCC logo.

If you are interested in getting these exclusives, do pop by Hasbro Toy Shop and search for the term SDCC. Browse through the list of SDCC exclusive toys and you will bump into these Muggs.
