What I am about to show you guys maybe a little ‘gory’. Yes, in this post, I will be showing you the heads (display heads to be exact) of your favorite game/anime/tonkatsu character. You will be surprise that there are actually alot of different character head display out there. Today, we will be looking at the display heads from Halo, Gundam and Masked Rider.

Halo Display Heads

Produced by Mcfarlane toys, this helmets of your favorite character from Halo measures around around 1.75 inches wide, 1.75 inches high. The helmets comes in set of three and a 3×3 inch base is also included. I am sure my co-blogger Ultra Magnus will be happy to see this.

The helmets are very well sculpted and painted. The helmets are also meant to fir the 12” Spartan figure which is sold separately. A must have collection if you are a Halo fan.

Gundam Display Head

Produced by Banpresto, this Gundam Display heads are 1/35 in scale and are a cheaper alternative to the more expensive G-system display heads. However, you will be amazed at how detailed and attractive these display heads are  even though they are priced lower. So do not let its price fool you. Let’s take a look at some pictures of these display heads taken by whitebase from ebasenet.

As you can see, there is a whole assortment of Gundam Display heads to choose from including the Srike Gundam Head and even the Turn A Gundam Head.

As mentioned earlier, the heads are very well detailed with intricate panel lining and clear coloured parts. What’s more, it also comes with a display stand. Recently, many modellers have been customizing this display heads and converting them into amazing masterpieces. You can check out an example here (it’s in japanese).

Not sure if they are retailing it in Singapore. But I will be definitely getting the RX -78-2 head (picture above) if it is available.

Masked Rider Display Heads

Produced by Bandai, there is a whole range of heads based on the popular masked rider franchise. Cannot really put an exact number on the types of Masked Rider Display Heads around. But I remember seeing someone’s collection sprawling the whole table.

Banpresto has also released their version of the Masked Rider display heads. These heads standsat 14cm tall and comes with a display stand.

So, I am sure that after reading this post, some of you will be itching to get one of this amazing display heads. But do remember to check the availabilty of these heads - especially the Gundam one, as they are extremely popular and stocks are actually waning.
