Well, the NYCC is just over and so what are some of the latest toys that were featured? Are there news about new muggs? And the answer to both questions is yes! 2009 is going to be a very exciting year for toys even though this may not be a very good financial year in the face of the economic slowdown. I guess that is why up till this day, I am still collecting toys because toys helps me to relax and also helps me connect with my inner self better.

Hasbro has released prototypes of some exciting new Mighty Muggs that is going to be available in stores soon. These Muggs includes Magneto, Iceman - yes Iceman! Spiderman with a removable mask and  Green Goblin. I pactically jumped out of my seat when I saw the image of the Green Goblin. It’s simply awesome + delicious + amazing… maybe we can form a word for this.

Iceman Mighty Muggs

Both these Muggs are very well detailed. However, Magneto’s helmet seems to be painted on instead of being removable. Would be great if it was removable instead. Noticed the Target sign in front of the Muggs, I guess they should be Target exclusives which is very bad news for me because there is no Target outlets in Singapore.

Upon removing the mask, it shows a very cross looking Peter Parker. I guess that is because of the presence of Green Goblin.

Green Goblin Mighty Muggs

Holding his pumpkin grenade and riding his silver glider, this Green Goblin never seem happier with that sardonic on his face. I am really anticipating this mugg.
