LineBarrel of Iron Model Figures

Line Barrel of Iron is one of the latest anime that is airing right now. After catching a few episodes of the anime, I found that the design of the robots are pretty unique. Especially the way the legs of the robots have been designed. However, the story for the anime is pretty lacking. Hope it actually gets better in future episodes.

The main character of the anime is Kouichi Hayase who pilots the robot called Line Barrel. Line Barrel is easily one the most powerful robot in the anime and it has a special move called the “Executor” where it unleashes an energy blade that does devastating damage.

The model kits for this anime is actually produced by Kotobukiya. Molded in coloured plastic, the kits can be easily assembled.

Line Barrel

The scale for this kit is 1/144 and as you can see the legs of the robots looks somewhat different. It seems like the robot is standing on tip toes. However, the overall proportion of the kit seems balanced enough.

Vardant

Another particular robot that I like in this anime is the Vardant. PIloted by Reiji Moritsugu, the Chief of JUDA’s Special Task Force, the Vardant is a deadly adversary to face on the battlefield. Having blades that can cleave an enemy cleanly in half and backpack that opens up to form a wing- like structure that function as a shield, the Vardant is simply unstoppable.
