Juggernaut
Oops... Someone seems to be very angry
Juggernaut, the step brother of Charles Xavier obtained great powers when he touched the crimson gem of Cytorrak. Now bestowed with incrdedible strength, he walks down the path of destruction to seek his revenge against Xavier.
The Juggernaut in this series is superbly detailed and the colours are very close to what you can find in the comic. The only fault that I can find is his face. Somehow his eyes seemed to be a little “crossed”. Seems like Juggernaut has to seek an optometrist soon.
Spiderman and Scorpion
What’s a Spiderman series without Spiderman? Fully articulated and colour correct, the figure looks good. And to accompany our lonely Spiderman is Scorpion. Only appearing a short while in the marvel universe, it’s quite suprising that he will be appearing in this classics series.
Tarantula
Boots from Versace?
The most unique figure in this series is Tarantula. Tarantula is a lesser known character in the Marvel series as he does not appear very often in the comics. He is a supervillain who wears a red stretch costume with a black tarantula on its chest. He’s also equipped with poisonous stingers attached to his soles as can beseen from the picture above.
In the beginning, Tarantula was actually a human being called Anton Miguel Rodriguez. However, after a mishap in a mutagenic process, he turned into a gigantic spider-like being. Interesting to note that the villains always get turned into a monster just becasue he is named Tarantula but Spiderman always remains as a human.
This figures will be hitting the shelf soon in the US so folks in the States do look out for it. Well, for collectors in Singapore, we just have to wait.
