Come this 22nd and 23rd November, Singapore will be holding for the first time in South East Asia the Anime Festival Asia 2008 convention.

The Anime Festival convention will be held at the Suntec International Convention and Exhibition Hall and will showcase a wide variety of Japanese pop culture. The whole convention area spans over 5,000 sqm of space and will feature 6 experience zones being - Akiba Town, Anime Live, Anime Blockbusters, Industry, Mangaka and Planet Mech. Visitors will also gain access to exclusive content, merchandise and live acts straight from Japan.

This year 2008 Bandai Action Kits Universal Cup (BAKUC) Competition will also be held there so we can get to treat ourselves with some of the best Gundam works in Asia. Bandai will release exclusive products during this convention. Gundam fans, this is a convention you cannot miss.

There is an admission fee for this event: $5 (1 day) / $8 (2 days). Children under 6 years have free admission though.

Well cant wait for the event to arrive. Hopefully they have some sort of sales there. Checkout the official site here.
