This is the reissued version of the generation one - Galvatron. In the movie cartoon, Galvatron is actually a rebuilt of version of Megatron. Megatron was actually on the verge of obliteration when he was offered by Unicron a new body but in return, he has to serve Unicron.

In this reissue of this classic villain decepticon, the colours actually matches the cartoon, the head was resculpted and the figure actually comes with a medal - the matrix of leadership (the golden little piece on the chain shown in the picture below ). This medal is actually solid metal and is gold plated. The figure itself is of high quality since its made by Takara and also you can see that they try to keep the box packaging as close the original one as possible.

In his alternate mode, Galvatron transforms into a cannon. When I first saw this form in the cartoon itself, I was quite amazed because Megatron was actually a pistol and now he turned into a cannon. Mind-blowing!

In his robot mode, you can mount his orange cannon on while arm and place his other weapon in his other arm. If you guys can remember, he used this cannon of his to blow off Starscream.

This figure comes with sounds and light effects. It makes 2 sound effects and speaks three Japanese phrases.

This is a piece you should get to display beside your Megatron figure. I have a bought a reissued Megatron figure back in year 2004. Will try to snap some pics of it when time permits. So do stay tune.
