Ben 10 Metamorfigures Review
Well seriously, I can’t get enough of this cartoon : Ben 10. Ben 10 is about Ben Tennyson who has this amazing watch called the Omnitrix which allows him to transform into ten different alien forms. My nephew is always drawing a watch shape device on his wrist and jumping around enacting every alien form out. I asked myself whats so interesting about this cartoon and so I decided to watch one episode. Before I knew it, I was waking up early every weekend morning to catch it.
In this article, I would like to share with you guys and girls another action figure series from the Ben 10 merchandise. This series itself is called the Metamorfigures. Only 8 alien forms are available in this series being Heatblast, Four Arms, Upgrade, Cannon Bolt, Benwolf, Wildmutt, Ripjaw and Grey Matter.
I think that from the name itself, we can guess that this toys can actually transform into something. But what? Lets find out.
1. Heatblast
This figure stands at 20 cm and is able to transform itself into a torch.
2. Four Arms
One of my favourite character, this figure stands at 20 cm and is able to transform into a locking storage container. With his strong arms, the figure can attach itself onto the bag and it also features a hidden storage compartment at the front of its chest.
3. Upgrade
Standing 20 cm tall, this upgrade figure can be transformed into a racecar. You can even set the 10 cm Ben figure into it. The figure also comes preinstalled with sound. To activate it, press the omnitrix and as the racecar is moved forward, it makes the sound: “I am ready for everthing… Bring it on”. As you move it backwards, it makes the a vehicle sound.
4. Cannon Bolt
When cannonbolt is turned on, it actually says “Time to Rock and Roll”. The figure can be transformed into a ball and the unique thing is that there is a motor inside that keeps it rolling. The separated limbs as shown in the pic below can be rearranged into targets for the ball to roll over.
5. Benwolf
I must say that this is one the cooler figures in this metamorfigure series. The Benwolf can be transformed into a megaphone. How cool is that!
6. Wild Mutt
Wildmutt stands at 20 cm and can be tranformed into a motion sensor room guard. As you near it, it makes a growling sound to fend off all intruders. They should make it drool at the mouth too. That would be even more intimidating.
7. RipJaw
This figure is 20 cm tall and can be tranformed into a water pistol. Not sure of how much water it can hold though. Use to have a toy like this before. I think its the elephant man from the He-Man series.
8. Grey Matter
Ok. The reason why I left Grey Matter as the last figure to be reviewed is because I think that it is the coolest figure in this metamorfigure series. Why? This figure stands at 20 cm which is weird because Grey Matter is the smallest alien form that Ben can transform into but there is a reason why its almost the same height as the rest of the figures. It is because this figure can be transformed into a pair of binoculars. Now spying on your enemies will be an easy task.
