Introducing the Transformers Animated series. This new transformer series is airing every Saturday morning on Kids Central. When I first saw the robots in the cartoon, I found the design very strange as they looked totally different from the traditional Transformers. But after a while, I found the design very interesting and now, I can’t wait to get my robotic hands on the toys.

Lets look at one of the toys from the series - one of my favourite and I guess for many others as well - Optimus Prime. Optimus Prime is the leader of the autobots and in these his alternate mode is a fire truck. His main weapon is his battle axe. It is an Energon-based weapon that has multiple purposes.
